BOOK A LESSON

“Matt is the most honest and experienced guitar tech I have ever worked with. Whether it’s new or old, Matt has the answer. Matt sets up guitars to play butter smooth and he will always give you a great price. He will also contact you if there is more work than previously quoted, so there are no surprises. When I bring my gear to Matt, I know that it is in the best hands.”

“In a world full of guitar technicians, Matt Taylor stands out. I have a large collection of both vintage and high-end guitars, and Matt has never done me wrong. Whether it’s a simple adjustment or something more in depth, Matt’s attention to detail about his work is second to none. It is very rare in this world to meet someone who actually has passion about their chosen field and Matty truly does. I would recommend him to anyone who plays and wants their axe to perform at its peak and be properly maintained!”

“Matthew Taylor has provided top-notch services for me throughout the last 7 years. He has put his magic touch on all my electric and acoustic guitars as well as several of my amplifiers. Anything from wiring jobs, to set-ups, to full-scale builds. He’s even done some simple fixes on my analog pedals. I’ve recommended him to every guitarist in my circle and we all agree that Matty is a great guy with an uncanny knack for his craft. He is a real class- act with more than 25 years of experience. He’s ben at it since his teenage years, and he specializes in vintage gear. He is an old soul at the core. Bring your gear to him and see just how he razzle-dazzles, but do not forget a note pad. You just might get baptized in his sea of knowledge. You’ll learn a few things if you hang around. He goes out of his way to make sure you get exactly what you need out of your gear.”

“For many reasons, I’m honestly bummed I dont live in the same town as Matt anymore...Among the many, one reason being is that I always went to him with my guitar/amp maintenance and repair. He does a fantastic job of catering your set up to the style of your playing. I’ve had my guitars set up/repaired by many other professionals on many occasions and none get it quite like Matt. When I get a guitar back from him I don’t notice anything about the setup because thats how natural it feels. On top of all of that, Matt looks out for his customers best interest. He’ll tell you not to buy something or he’ll tell you not to add upgrades, even if he loses business in the process. Very unbiased yet usually correct opinions from a very honorable man. ”
